US rapper Snoop Dogg will be one of the last Olympic torchbearers before the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics on Friday.

According to the international press, 52-year-old Snoop Dogg will carry the torch through the streets of Saint-Denis, in the north of Paris, where the Stade de France is located. This section is the penultimate stage of the flame's journey before it ends at the Eiffel Tower.

The artist will be accompanied by French actress Laetitia Casta and French rapper MC Solaar.

It's worth remembering that the Olympic torch has travelled across France since the start of its journey in May and has been carried by a number of personalities, including former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc and actress Halle Berry.

Snoop Dogg, whose name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., was born in Los Angeles, host city of the 2028 Games.
