Three tanks at a Russian oil depot caught fire in the Kursk region early this morning after a Ukrainian drone strike, the region's governor, Alexei Smirnov, said.
"Last night, Ukrainian drones attacked an oil depot in the Kursk region. Three fuel tanks caught fire. None of the residents or workers at the industrial infrastructure were injured," Smirnov wrote on Telegram.
According to the governor of the Kursk region, 82 firefighters and 32 teams are working to fight the fire and that the flames in one of the tanks have already been extinguished.
Smirnov also added that two Ukrainian drones were shot down in the region overnight.
The Kursk region is one of the Russian areas worst hit by Ukrainian attacks since the start of the war in February 2022.
