A woman has decided to turn to TikTok to denounce the fact that she has been refused a job opportunity because she has too many tattoos.
The woman, from California, USA, says that she has been denied several opportunities because of her tattoos, which many say are "demonic" or "scare children".
Fed up with the criticism, she decided to take to social media to denounce the latest rejection.
According to her, she went to the place she had applied to and asked why she hadn't been selected. The answer was that she had little experience for the job, unlike other candidates.
Ash says she doesn't believe the explanation she was given.
"I hate that my tattoos are a deciding factor for me when it comes to getting a job," she says, arguing that her image is not a sign that she won't be a good worker. "Some of the smartest people I know have tattoos and piercings," she added.
Ash runs a gift business and confesses that she is not financially distressed, but she is angry because she is looking for a stable job to go with her hobby. Something that is being made difficult by her image.
