Earlier this year, Apple launched its Vision Pro, its first virtual and augmented reality device that represents the company's entry into a new market. The device was launched with a price tag of $3,500 (3,208 euros), which makes it a bit out of reach for most budgets.

Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman says that Apple could change that with the launch of a new Vision device, which should cost around $2,000 (1,831 euros). The journalist indicates that the Cupertino technology company will likely use cheaper materials and a cheaper processor in order to reach this price, while also opting to remove features such as EyeSight.

It is believed that this more affordable model could be launched as early as 2025, with the true successor to the Vision Pro expected in 2026.
