The trial of the sexual abuse case of Gisèle Pelicot, who was raped by dozens of men, with her husband's knowledge, while she was drugged, in France, continues.

This Thursday was marked by the testimony of some of the 50 defendants in the case, with controversial statements.

Among them is that of Jean T., a man who claimed not to remember anything. The suspect told the judge that he too was drugged by Dominique Pèlicot, who offered him a drink when he entered the house.

"Why didn't you file a complaint if you think you were drugged?", asked the judge. "It was a bad encounter. We forget everything and that's it", replied the 52-year-old man.

These allegations contradict the behavior shown in videos, where the individual appears quite active during the abuse to which he subjected the victim. "I don't remember anything", he defended himself again.

Redouan F, another of the defendants, said that he acted out of fear. According to the man, when he entered the Pelicot house he was terrified by the dark atmosphere and when he saw Gisèle unconscious he thought she was dead. When questioned about the rape, he said he had acted out of fear of Dominique.

Another defendant said he thought it was a sexual fantasy between Gisèle and Dominique, while others asked that they not be judged as if they were all the same as Dominique.

These allegations were heard during a ten-hour session.

The veracity of these testimonies will be clarified this Friday, when the recordings of the rapes that implicate them are viewed and analyzed, reports Telecinco.
