WhatsApp announced this Tuesday, the 22nd, a new option for users of the messaging service that puts aside the need to store contacts on the phone.
From now on users of the WhatsApp app for PC or the WhatsApp Web (the version for 'web') can switch to record contacts directly in the respective account of the service.
Moreover, says the site TechCrunch that WhatsApp is working on a way to allow users to choose a contact name for their respective profiles, allowing to have conversations without having to share the phone number.
