Two school buses in Missouri, USA, collided near the Three Trails primary school.

The incident ended with no injuries, but the case is gaining visibility because the vehicle that caused the accident was being driven by a second grader.

According to her own account to the local media, the pupils were having a lesson on road safety, and the school driver had chosen some pupils to sit behind the wheel and familiarize themselves with some of the car's buttons, such as the one that opens the doors.

Several pupils refused, except for seven-year-old Alannah Cheffen, who complied with the monitor's orders. However, when she clicked on some of the buttons, the youngster says that the bus started to move and ended up crashing into another car.

In response to what happened, the school sent a statement to the students' families, informing them of the incident, but revealing that it was just a scare and that the day would return to normal.

However, the situation is causing outrage because the school has not clarified why the child was behind the wheel of the car, and the case only came to light because the child told her mother what had happened.
