Sting has cancelled his appearance at the Bass Magazine Awards, scheduled for Thursday, and postponed his upcoming shows due to health problems.
The 73-year-old musician released a statement explaining that the decision was made "following medical advice".
The postponed concerts were scheduled to take place in the United States, in Phoenix, the capital of the state of Arizona, and in Wheatland, California, and were scheduled for January 24 and 26, respectively.
"Sting sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience and expresses his gratitude to his fans for their understanding," read the message, shared on the musician's social media, former lead singer of The Police.
