The great African powers chose the DRC to measure their military power:
- South Africa, Malawi, Burundi and even Uruguay, a Latin American country, also got involved in the DRC to measure forces with Rwanda.
- When Paul Kagame raises security concerns, he is referring to the presence of these various military forces, from different countries and continents, at the gates of Rwanda.
- That's why I often say that Africans who support Vladimir Putin's criminal war against Ukraine should not criticize Paul Kagame.
- These countries that are helping the Congolese army are exactly the reason why Paul Kagame, from Rwanda, sent his men into the DRC territory.
- And just like Putin's invasion of Ukraine, Paul Kagame also claims national security issues.
- But unlike Vladimir Putin, Paul Kagame seems to be winning against everyone.
- South Africa, Malawi, Burundi and Uruguay, for example, reported serious casualties among their men.
- It was reported that four of its soldiers, members of the UN peacekeeping mission MONUSCO, were killed in clashes, bringing the total death toll among UN peacekeepers to six.
- The UN in Malawi announced in a publication on X that three Malawian soldiers were killed.
- The army of Uruguay, a Latin American country, also confirmed the death of one of its soldiers and injuries to two others.
- The UN now warns that this conflict could turn into a real regional war: South Africa, Burundi, DRC and Malawi against Rwanda.
