Apple has acknowledged the existence of a bug in the iPhone's text dictation functionality, which causes when someone says “racist” the word to be replaced with “Trump”.
The error was reported through a viral video shared on TikTok and led Apple to go public with the sharing of a statement about the situation. The technology suggests that the error is related to phonetic overlap between the two words.
“We are aware of an error with the speech recognition model and will release a fix as soon as possible,” read the statement shared with Fox News.
