Kanye West has reportedly lost a $20 million (€19.47 million) contract to perform in Japan following the rapper and Bianca Censori's controversial appearance at the Grammys, the Daily Mail has revealed.
Remembering that during the red carpet of the ceremony, which took place on Sunday, February 2, the couple posed in a moment that was already much talked about.
In front of the photographers' lenses, the rapper's wife took off the coat she was wearing and was wearing a completely transparent dress, showing her private parts.
According to the Daily Mail, Kanye had signed a contract for two shows at the Tokyo Dome in May, which have now been cancelled following his controversial appearance on the Grammy red carpet.
"Kanye is 'screwing up' every opportunity he gets. This moment was chilling and disgusting, and it was met with horror in Japan," a source in Tokyo told the publication.
"Japan is having a cultural awakening about women's rights and the MeToo movement is very strong here. What he did was seen as an act of coercive control, which is completely unacceptable."
Remembering that the couple has been living in Tokyo, Japan, for the past few months.
