Shebeshxt has been arrested following his shooting of a motorist in Polokwane in October after a heated argument at a petrol station.
Full name Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, Shebeshxt was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning, 12 November 2025 at his Bendor home.
The recent arrest will not be the first time Shebeshxt has visited the police since the shooting incident that occurred on 19 October 2025. Immediately after he allegedly shot the motorist in the stomach, he reported himself to the police but was later released on bail.
The family of the motorist is crying out for justice, and this latest arrest might see Shebeshxt behind bars for years. The timing of the arrest comes as a major blow to Shebeshxt’s career. With the festive season around the corner and a fully booked gig guide, the arrest could cause him to miss out on many performances and opportunities.
The police hasn’t issued a statement as regards to the arrest of the Lekompo star.
