A family of taekwondo instructors saved a woman from being raped in Cypress, Texas, USA, after hearing her terrified cries for help.

NBC reports that it all happened on Tuesday, June 18th. The An family were at their martial arts school when they heard the call for help. The first to react was Grandmaster Han An, an eighth-degree black belt and South Korean military vet.

The man quickly ran outside the building to find out where the screams were coming from and noticed that they were coming from a cell phone store next to the school.

Already in the company of his wife and three children, all black belts, Han entered the space and saw a young man trying to rape his neighbor.

He immediately kicked and punched him, pushing the sex offender away from the neighbor. While he and two of his children held back the suspect, now known to be 19-year-old Alex Robinson, until the police arrived. The woman and her daughter took the victim to school to calm and comfort her.

On the social network X, the Harris authorities thanked the An family for the rescue: "They used their training and discipline to prevent the attack and hold the suspect, who has since been charged with attempted rape."
