Manchester United have hired Dan Ashworth as sporting director and, with his arrival, there could be some player departures. The Mirror reports on Thursday that Ashworth intends to overhaul the squad and not even the most important players are guaranteed a place.

This is the case with Bruno Fernandes, who despite being one of the captains and most important members of the team, is also in the pipeline for a possible departure. The tabloid reports that the English club will listen to approaches for the midfielder, as well as Diogo Dalot and six other players, namely André Onana, Lisandro Martinez, Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Amad Diallo.

It's important to remember that Manchester United decided to keep Erik Ten Hag at the helm of the team, after other coaches had been sounded out.
