Aline Maria Ferreira, a 33-year-old model and digital influencer from Brasília, died on Tuesday (2) after undergoing a cosmetic procedure on her buttocks. Biomedical doctor Grazielly da Silva Barbosa, owner of the clinic where the procedure was carried out, was arrested in the act by the Civil Police of Goiás, the state where she was working.
With more than 40,000 followers on Instagram, Aline shared fashion content, daily tips and photos with her family. She was married and the mother of two boys. A mourning note was published on her profile, informing that the wake will take place this Thursday (4), from 9am to 11am, at the Ecumenical Temple at Gama Cemetery, in the Federal District.
Aline suffered a generalized infection after having polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) applied to her buttocks. The procedure was carried out on June 23 in Goiânia (GO). On the same day, she returned to Brasília, where she began to feel ill. Aline had been hospitalized in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since the 29th.
Grazielly d Silva Barbosa, responsible for the procedure, is a biomedical doctor and was arrested in the act by the Civil Police. The owner of the beauty clinic where Aline had the procedure, Grazielly had no professional registration with the Regional Biomedicine Council. The arrest was made by the State Police Station for the Repression of Crimes Against Consumers (Decon).
