Wrong-Way Driver Leaves 4 People Injured In Paris Chase

A wrong-way driver injured four people this Wednesday in Paris, France. According to international publications, one of the victims is in a serious condition.


 

The authorities tried to stop the driver, but when confronted he fled.


According to a police spokesman quoted by Agence France-Presse, while fleeing, the car hit two pedestrians, a cyclist and a person on a motorbike.


The same source explained that after these collisions, the driver was arrested. The four people remain under hospital surveillance.


The first to be hit was the cyclist, who suffered knee injuries, according to Le Parisien. The same publication reports that the vehicle then hit a pedestrian who was crossing the road and was seriously injured.


The other two victims were then hit while the car was travelling along a central street in the French capital. The incident took place at around 2pm in mainland Portugal.
