Another beauty contest is underway, this time to choose... the most beautiful bat in the world.
The event has been running since 2019 and initially came about with the aim of raising awareness about the ecological importance of this animal.
The competition runs for a week and always takes place on the scariest week of the year. The winner is announced at the end of the week, on Halloween.
The photos of the mammals in the competition are shared on Facebook and Instagram, where you can vote.
