The president of Take-Two Interactive, Karl Slatoff, took advantage of the company's most recent financial results presentation to confirm that 'GTA VI' is still scheduled for release in the fall of 2025.
Remember that 'GTA VI' was first announced at the end of last year with a first trailer that confirmed the release for 2025. However, it wasn't until May of this year that producer Rockstar Games specified that the game would hit stores in the fall.
However, given the rumors about the possibility of 'GTA VI' being postponed, Slatoff has now taken the opportunity to indicate that there have been no changes to the plans for the fiscal year.
“Looking ahead, we expect fiscal year 2026 to be a landmark year,” said Slatoff. “We plan to release several blockbuster titles, including Rockstar Games‘ ’Grand Theft Auto VI‘ in the fall of 2025, ’Borderlands 4‘ and ’Mafia: The Old Country'.”
