NASA Astronaut Shows You A Picture Of Earth You've Never Seen Before

NASA astronaut Don Pettit has shared another photograph taken from the International Space Station using a 30-minute exposure, which resulted in what you can see below.


More interesting than the lingering effect of the lights on Earth and the stars, this is the first photograph to show a sunrise and a sunset at the same time. In addition, it is also possible to notice aurora borealis in the atmosphere.


It's worth remembering that, at 69, Pettit is the oldest active astronaut and arrived at the International Space Station in September on what is his fourth orbital mission.
