After 'Fallout' and 'Like A Dragon: Yakuza', it seems that Prime Video has decided to go ahead with yet another adaptation of a well-known video game franchise. According to Variety, the 'Mass Effect' saga will be getting a TV series on Amazon's streaming service.
The publication says that Daniel Casey ('F9: The Fast Saga') will be in charge of the script, as will producer Mike Gamble from BioWare - responsible for the 'Mass Effect' games. Ari Arad ('Iron Man') will be executive producer.
As a reminder, apart from the original 'Mass Effect' trilogy, the last game in the franchise was 'Mass Effect: Andromeda' in 2017. It is also known that, after Dragon Age The Veilguard, the next game in the Mass Effect series is already in production.
