X's rival is studying ways to increase the company's revenue.
Since the election of Donald Trump as the next US president, Bluesky has experienced considerable growth, with the social network enjoying an exodus from X as a result of Musk's support for the Republican candidate.
While still dealing with some 'growing pains', the company is now trying to understand how to increase the revenue generated by the social network and, in addition to considering advertising integration, the possibility of a subscription being launched is also on the table.
As the website TechCrunch reports, Bluesky's Github platform suggests some features that could be present in a 'premium' version of the social network - known for now as Bluesky+.
In addition to the possibility of customizing the profile page, subscribers could also send longer and better quality videos, as well as automatic translations of posts on the social network.
However, it is worth noting that some of these features may be released in the free version of Bluesky.
