Among the recommendations is also the recommendation that young people between 12 and 16 years old have cell phones without Internet access.

A committee of 50 experts prepared a report with some recommendations that it considers important for the Spanish government to adopt in relation to cell phones - a report created with the aim of protecting younger people from the harms of technology and the Internet.

As reported by El País, the report in question recommends that the packaging of new cell phones have labels where consumers are alerted to the main health risks, as well as the possible impacts on the development of younger people.

The nearly 250-page report includes a total of 107 recommended measures for the Spanish government to deal with what the committee considers a “public health epidemic.”

In addition to this label on cell phone packaging, the committee advises that children under three years of age should not be exposed to mobile devices and advises against using them for up to six years. Furthermore, experts recommend that young people between the ages of 12 and 16 only have cell phones without Internet access.
