Euro'2024 has featured several moments off the field that have gone around the world and this Sunday we have another one. Andre Schnura's name has gained popularity in recent days in Germany due to a simple saxophone that he uses to liven up several fanzones, but the story doesn't end there.
Through social media, the German musician and teacher explained that he became unemployed at the beginning of last week after six years of teaching.
"I am completely overwhelmed and extremely grateful for what has happened. This week has been one of glaring ups and downs – earlier this week I was fired from the music school where I have taught for six years because of new regulations and I was at a loss as to what to do ", he began by writing on social media, pointing to a charitable cause.
"But I also know that there are many people in a worse situation than me. Some of you may have noticed that my saxophone is from my own brand, which I founded with my best friend. In order to give back, we decided that we will donate 150 euros to an association for every saxophone sold in our store until the end of this year. After a long search, we chose the Toni Kroos Foundation, which aims to help seriously ill children. children's dreams that, sometimes, are, unfortunately, their last wishes", concluded Andre Schnura.
There are many videos on social media showing this saxophonist, wearing the Voller jersey, cheering up the German fans, and the next 'performance' is scheduled for this evening, before Germany plays Switzerland in Frankfurt.
