Google has announced that its photo storage app - Google Photos - has passed the 10 billion download mark. As 9to5google points out, Google Photos was officially launched in 2015 and has since become one of the most widely used apps in this segment.
Although most cell phone manufacturers have their own photo storage apps, the truth is that the large number of editing and organizing features makes Photos one of the most useful apps to have installed on your phone.
Google Photos is now the tenth application developed by Google to pass the 10 billion download mark.
