A 60-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition on Wednesday after being bitten by a snake in his own home in Valdemorillo, Spain.
Paramedics were called to the scene and found the man in anaphylactic shock, according to ABC Spain. After being stabilized, he was taken by helicopter to hospital where he remains in serious condition.
The police were also mobilized and the circumstances of the incident have not yet been clarified.
It is also not known whether or not the snake belonged to the man.
