Students and teachers at Hannah Caldwell Elementary School in New Jersey, USA, have been forced to temporarily relocate due to the presence of mold in the old school.

According to ABC, teachers and students are going through a challenge after the possibility of staying in remote education was ruled out.

The new leadership at the school, which took office recently, decided to close the school due to a problem that had been reported for several years. This new leadership decided to close the school with immediate effect.

Parents are questioning why nothing was done at the time of the first reports, something that could have prevented this drastic decision. The first photos showing signs of mold on the premises were taken in 2022.

To minimize the effects of the decision, the school's principal says that several school buses will be at the Hannah Caldwell school every day and will take the students to their new schools from there until the problem is resolved.

Despite not being satisfied with the decision, parents say they prefer the situation found by the school board to having their children in remote education.
